Itinerary

A day-by-day outline

Day 1

Delhi → Pithoragarh (~480 km)

Early-morning departure from Delhi, a scenic drive from the plains into the Himalaya, and arrival at Pithoragarh by evening for check-in and rest. Stay: Pithoragarh.

Day 2

Pithoragarh → Nabi / Gunji

Drive through alpine forests and waterfalls via the Chielakh viewpoint, with medical check-up and permit formalities and a stop at the Nepal local market from Dharchula, reaching your Nabi / Gunji homestay. Stay: Nabi / Gunji.

Day 3

Adi Kailash Darshan (Parvati Sarovar)

The heart of the yatra: darshan at Adi Kailash (Chhota Kailash) with Jolingkong, Gauri Kund and Parvati Kund, and the natural Nandi, Gauri Mata, Trishul and Ganesh Parvat formations, returning via Ronkong Village and Manokamna Temple. Stay: Nabi / Gunji.

Day 4

Nabi / Gunji → Om Parvat → Pithoragarh (~230 km)

En route darshan at the Kali Mata Temple and Vyas Gufa, then Om Parvat to witness the natural Om symbol, Nandi faces, Seshnaag Parvat, Hanuman face and Trishul Parvat, before driving back to Pithoragarh. Stay: Pithoragarh.

Day 5

Pithoragarh → Almora (Kasar Devi)

Darshan at Jageshwar Dham, one of India's oldest groups of Shiva temples, and the Chitai Golu Devta Temple, then on to Kasar Devi for a peaceful Himalayan evening. Stay: Kasar Devi.

Day 6

Almora → Delhi

Sunrise and morning aarti at the Kasar Devi Temple, darshan at Kainchi Dham (Neem Karoli Baba Ashram), then the return drive to Delhi, arriving by evening/night.
